On the roof of a building in the city centre, on a terrace, the association Ne pas plier has installed a "Observatoire de la Ville" which offers a panorama of Ivry and its surroundings. From this point of view overlooking the center of Ivry, everyone learns to decipher the organization, the physical and social history of the city. This project aims to provide urban citizens with urban knowledge to share, which the demands of everyday life do not always allow them to cultivate. To read one’s city is to find one’s critical space, to know how to take the right distance and to understand the world in which we live.
