During annexation, Metz is transformed under the effect of the German authorities which decide to make of its town planning a shop window(showcase) of empire wilhelmien. Architectural eclecticism is translated by the appearance of numerous buildings of styles different historicistes. The building dates of 1894, and is built, as the temple of Garrison of 1875, in a neogothic, stone style of Jaumont, the local stone, and not in sandstone as the public buildings of time(period). He(It) contains a bell tower of 50 m of top. Four evangelists whose symbols, painted under the forum(stand), call back(remind) the prominence of Word. The huge crucifix placed on the wall of the bottom results(comes) from the temple of Garrison. Organ of 1987.
