In the midst of renovation work, the Château de la Grange is opening its doors to the public on the occasion of this weekend.

A castle is mentioned on the place in 1106\. He(It) belonged successively to the family The Barn, then passed in different families. Ruined during the Thirty Years War, he(it) is rebuilt by Christophe Gomé des Hazards from 1731 on plans of the architect Robert de Cotte then sold in Fouquet in 1752, to return to the family of Bertier in 1803\. He(It) is very harmed during both world wars and restored since 1950\. The castle is listed(classified) in conformance with(for) Historic monuments since 1984 and the garden is labelled remarkable garden. The castle of the Barn saw the stays of Casanova, of the duke and of the duchess of Windsor, of the colonel de Gaulle.
