Come and discover the Vosges textile heritage through a visit with demonstrations of spinning and weaving.

Located in an old weaving, the Vosges Textile Museum, in Ventron, makes you discover on 4 levels the Vosges textile industrial heritage. The driving forces, with a magnificent animated steam engine, then spinning, with a succession of machines set in motion, allow the visitor to follow the transformation of the cotton and the ball up to the finished yarn.
Manual and industrial weaving demonstrations highlight the evolution of looms from the 18th century to the present day. On the top floor, temporary, artistic and thematic exhibitions are presented. Small looms also allow children to learn the techniques of hand weaving.
