Step into this church and marvel at the 1540 murals.

In the flamboyant Gothic style, this church is completely painted and covered with 15th and 16th century murals.
At an unknown time, they were covered with a painting. This one certainly contributed to their preservation. It was in 1845, during a cleansing, that they were discovered to the great joy of Abbé Schnabel, then parish priest. The Messin painter Charles André Malardot was commissioned to restore them. The work lasted 20 years.
The church was listed as a Historical Monument on May 9, 1881 by the Germans. A very beautiful restoration from January 2002 to December 2004 consisting only of a cleaning, gave all its brilliance to these paintings.
