The association Les Amis du Vieux Mirecourt, governed by the law of 1901, was born in February 1992 from the merger of two associations animated by the same vocation, «Les Amis du Vieux Mirecourt» and «Mirecourt Regain». Having fallen a little asleep, she resumed her activities in 2010\. She has since joined the Fédération des sociétés savantes des Vosges.
Thanks to its volunteers, it provides guided tours of the city of Mirecourt. It has also achieved remarkable achievements, such as the exhibition on the Bazin dynasty or the production of a booklet on Mirecourt in the time of Pierre Fourier, and has a collection of interesting documents, including photographs.
Its main aims are: • the defence and promotion of the architectural, historical, archaeological, artisanal and artistic heritage of Mirecourt and its surroundings, • historical research, • cultural animation of the city, alone or in liaison with other associations with similar aims, by organizing conferences, exhibitions and al
