Discover the beer brewing premises and enjoy access to the summit terrace.

During the Heritage Days, all the premises will be open access, including and, exceptionally (except in case of rain), the terrace located at the top of the brewing tower, from where a magnificent panorama of the valley of the Meurthe de Dombasle in Nancy can be admired.
The visit allows to discover all the stages of the manufacture of the beer, from the observation of the barley to the packaging in bottle, without forgetting the huge vats of sparkling copper which, visible from the street thanks to the wide windows, made the brewer proud.
The visitor will be able to discover the exhibition on the theme «The brewery horse» in presentation until the end of September.

About the location

Musée Français de la Brasserie

The museum allows you to discover all the stages of the manufacture of beer in traditional brewing equipment dating (as well as the premises) from 1931\. Located in the former brewery of Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, which has been closed since 1986, the museum also maintains a large collection of posters, enamelled plates and other advertising objects from many French breweries.
The visit of the building created by the Nancy architect Fernand César allows to discover the brewing room and its magnificent copper pots, the hop room, the engine room with the huge cold compressor, the old coolers where the fermenters are next to the guard tanks and the racking equipment.
It also presents a set of Ecole de Nancy woodwork and Art Nouveau furniture as well as stained glass windows by Jacques Gruber created in 1907 for the tasting room of the Vézelise brewery.
On the facade of the brewing tower, one can observe a mosaic of J. Chriotofoli, representing the triumphant rooster, emblem of the local brewe
