Organized in a collaborative manner, the exhibition «Voyages(s)» presents a selection of works chosen by the museum’s visitors. Paintings, sculptures, prints and objects of art invite to an unprecedented discovery of the collections, from Europe to Asia via Oceania and Africa, through 3,000 years of History, from Antiquity to today.

This mansion of the XVIth century shelters the art museum and museum of History(Story) of the city of Verdun since 1932\. The presented collections are rich and various and allow to discover the history(story) of the region since the Prehistory till the beginning of the XXth century: archaeological objects, medieval sculptor, works of the painters Jules Bastien-Lepage and Hector Leroux, traditional furniture, ceramics, taques fireplace and militaria give rhythm to the route(course) of visit. The garden, dominated by a hundred-year-old maple, evokes the romantic spirit of the XIXth century.
