Musical discovery of the organ by the Friends of the organ
The association of the friends of the organ of the church Saint fiacre suggests to the visitors discovering this instrument surprising in the glittering tones.
The organ was set up in the forum(stand) of the Church Saint fiacre of Villers-lès-Nancy in October, 1993. Alfred Wild, factor(mailman) of organs in Gottenhouse-Saverne (Bas-Rhin) realised this masterly instrument, of baroque style, 30 games(sets), accommodated in a sideboard(buffet) in solid oak, prettified by mouldings and sculptures, in the aesthetics of the XVIIIth century. On the appeal of Evêque, the organ of Saint fiacre emitted(uttered) its first sounds under the expert fingers of regretted Pierre Cortellezzi, organist of the Cathedral of Nancy, during the dedication and during the blessing, on Sunday, December 19th, 1993, at 11 am.

Place of pilgrimage, the chapel devoted to Saint fiacre, boss of the gardeners, existed from the XIVth century. In 1601, Villarois obtains the creation of an autonomous, independent parish of the priory Saint-Melaine of Vandoeuvre. Very close to there, besides the castle, a hamlet contained in Remicourt some houses, of crop land, and a "barn" or farm belonging to the monks of Clairlieu, of which there remains(subsists) a cellar, in ruins this day. It is as well there as domiciled(resided) François snob, management agent of the booksellers of Nancy, wealthy(fortunate) man, that gave six thousand books(pounds) to serve in the construction of a new building. He(It) had privilege so to have there his(its) burial the paving stone of which is still visible in the right(straight) shoulder. Indeed, by 1780, the old chapel Saint fiacre, too small, giving worrying signs of dilapidation, the priest of time(period), the abbot Rosselange, asked for the competition(help) of its flock to rebuild their place of worship.
The new church will be built in the centre of the village, where the population most increased in time. All valid men(people) participate in works to demolish(destroy) the old(former) chapel. They transport materials on the ground of the current church. Works begin slowly, the stone in career(quarry) at the top of Taye is extracted. Finally, after a lot of concerns(marigolds) and due slowings down in the new church lacks money, am blest and open to the parishioners in June, 1788\. She(It) keeps(guards) her(its) old(former) patronymic of Saint fiacre to which that of the Virgin Mary is added.
