The Notre-Dame-de-pity chapel or chapel of Beauregard was built on the plateau of Grand Chien which faces the castle of Bourlémont, precision which has its importance when we know that it is Geoffroy de Bourlémont who is at the origin of this construction...

The chapel of Beauregard – called(conscript) also chapel Notre-Dame-De-Pitié – origin of which goes back up(raises) by 1275, is "put" on a hill dominating the valley of the Meuse(Maas). His(Her,Its) architecture is characterised by walls covered with’ protective "scales" in bad weather. The statue of Notre-Dame of Pity, preserved in its walls, is venerated in the course of pilgrimages.
