JEP 2021 at Ballue Castle and Gardens - Historical Guided Tours
Exceptional visits commented by the owners of the interiors of the castle 17th historical monument. We will talk about the former fortress of the Marches de Bretagne that was the Ballue for 600 years and we will tell the extraordinary journey of its builder, at the very beginning of the 17th, Gilles de Ruellan. Marquisate confiscated by the French Revolution, the castle of Ballue has preserved all its architectural authenticity. Today it is an elegant residence still inhabited, furnished and decorated, where historical fabrics, period furniture and original woodwork, combine in a great harmony.
Schedules Saturday and Sunday guided tours: 10:30 am - 2 pm - 4 pm - 6 pm - (reservation recommended).
The entrance fee allows access to the free visit of the gardens, the guided tour of the interiors, the ancient fencing show by Les Lames de Sévigné on Saturday and the workshops demonstrations of artisans on Sunday.
