The site is the headquarters of the Groupement de Défense Sanitaire Apicole de la Nièvre, association in charge of bee health, and the Syndicat d'Apiculture Nivernais-Morvan. This association aims to promote beekeeping in the Nièvre, and a beehive-school, where are provided training to acquire the bases allowing to drive a beehive.
