The former mansion was built in the seventeenth century for Mr.Enoch de Virey, who was Mayor of Chalon sur Saône. It has an original brick and stone facade.
The building was doubled in depth in the nineteenth century for new uses and new decors specific to a place of power and a major administrative center.To be noted : Visits at 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00
