Few people today know that Grenoble was the world capital of the glove, its specialty is a thin glove made of kid skin. The gauntlets followed step by step the extension of the city of Grenoble which pushes its ramparts to the south and then to the west towards the district of Aigle. More than half a dozen glove factories will be mentioned in this visit, they were among the most recent and most developed.
