Archéocrypte de Sainte-Sigolène

Archecrypt, archaeological museum presenting the objects of everyday life in the early Middle Ages. The furniture comes from the excavations conducted on the Troclar site. Place where Saint Sigolène founded one of the first women’s monasteries at the beginning of the 7th century. A life-size reconstruction is located in the visitor’s path. On the site: guided tours of the remains of the crypt, decorated with frescoes representing stylized draperies; of the small bell foundry, of the Gothic church.
