Municipal Archaeological Conservatory:
The objects presented at the Ordan-Larroque Archaeological Conservatory come from the different sites of the municipality, and more particularly from the Gallo-Roman Villa of Cassan. This villa is an essential site for the conservatory because it has made it possible to gather various objects of the Roman daily life (such as a perfume pot or pottery and mosaics) but was also able to uncover the remains of a medieval cemetery built on the same site.
The visit offers you a retrospective of the history of humanity, values the era of excavations carried out by Pierre Dupouey and creates a link to modern times. From the molars of gomphoterium to Roman daily life, through the funeral rites of the Middle Ages and the feats of arms during the Wars of Religions, Ordan has a conservatory full of curiosities that is worth a visit.
