In the prologue of the actual visit, historical reminder by PP of the existence of the Celtic oppidum and the Roman conquest until the attribution, in the tenth century, of the territory of Brignon to Raimond, Chevalier des Arènes, by the Viscount of Nîmes and the Count of Toulouse. During the visit, evocation of the evolution of village life in and around the castle until the eighteenth century.

Brignon represents 4000 years of History, first from -2500 on the Brienne Greenhouse (hunted period then oppidum ligure, Celtic and finally Gallo-Roman - numerous testimonies in different museums and private collections: pottery, jewelry, coins, mosaics) then, from the 10th to the 15th century, construction of the seigneurial castle and development of the medieval village (inscription in the Register of Historical Heritage in 2008). Proposed activities: comment of the models of the oppidum and the castle by architect/ archaeologist then visit the medieval village and finally exposed of an archaeological research course directly on the Old Bridge of the Droude.
