Come and discover the Maison de la Gemme, a space presenting, in the form of an exhibition room and a living museum, the local gemmage and its associated activities.

It is a place of memory tracing the economic activity that structured the life and the social bond of the commune and of the whole Aquitain massif in general: the gemmage, its practice, its history, the social struggles of the resiners, its decline and its hope of rebirth.
You will be welcomed by the team of volunteers around an old sheepfold, exhibition room.
The visit will continue on the path of the conifer in the heart of the Landes forest massif with demonstration of gemmage, history and management of the forest until the current use of the gem.
