Built from 1761 to 1771 by the neoclassical architect Jacques-François Blondel, the Hotel du Corps de Garde is part of an urban development characteristic of the eighteenth century: the Place d'Armes de Metz. Louis XV had asked for the creation of a place around which all the powers would be gathered. The mission of the Inspire Metz Agency is to promote the territorial attractiveness of Metz Métropole, its heritage, its activities and essential
