Jean-Luc SCHICKE

During this walk of modern art, you will discover the sculptures of Jean-Luc Schicke, exhibited until Sunday, September 20.
His sculptures are born from clay, before taking shape in a matter as dark as humour. A play of chiaroscuro liberates them from the shadows, thanks to a veil of colour they wear at the edge of the skin.

Created by Jean-Louis Cura and Alain Soulier, gardens fit with buildings(ships) in a continuation(suite) of rooms(chambers) in various atmospheres. Of the court(yard) of entrance(entry), they pass to garden with its gazebo, followed by the regular garden endowed with an arbour, with learnedly cut hedges(hurdles) and with topiary, giving up(selling) the space to prospect(perspective) in the hot tones of the Italian path and finally in the crystal garden and in the conservatory. Under the covered playground, possibility of a stopping place in the tearoom to savour entirely this timeless place. Contemporary works left by every guest artist over the years decorate gardens.
