Since the 17th century and the apparitions of Saint Anne to Yvon Nicolazic, thousands of pilgrims visit Sainte-Anne-d'Auray every year. As a sign of devotion, many offer a present to the saint in order to ask her help, or to thank her.
Gifts from empress or humble pilgrim, these objects, called _ex-voto_s, make the richness and originality of the collections of Sainte-Anne-d'Auray.
Usually presented in the Cloister Gallery, paintings, sculptures, traditional Breton costumes, goldsmiths, prints, models of boats and other everyday objects will be unveiled this year in the form of a very detailed photo trail, in very high quality.
