Chapelle de Trévarn
Trévarn, 29800, Saint-Urbain
L' existence of a place of worship in Trévarn is certified in the 12th century: during the second foundation of l' abbey of Daoulas in 1172 by Guiomar de Léon and his wife Nobile, l' church Sanctii Baharnii was given to him(her,it) for life. Until 1805 she(it) established(constituted) a truce of Dirinon. L' building presents a plan in Latin cross with salient transept and bedhead to three pieces. On the south arm of the transept is a small sacristy of square plan, grafted in l' is. L' current building is dated by internal and external registrations(inscriptions). Building work s' spreads out between 1682 and 1701\. In the placître, south side, is an ordeal(Calvary) to characters restored partly by the sculptor Landernéen Roland Doré by 1630.
