Seven craftsmen will come to present their craft and their passion, during an ephemeral exhibition of their know-how.
**Nicole EUDE (marquetry)**Before opening her workshop in Erquy, Nicole EUDE worked for 25 years in one of the largest marquetry workshops in Paris in the faubourg Saint-Antoine. In 1990, she obtained the title «Un des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France» in marquetry.
Nicole EUDE creates paintings that astonish by their variety. Part of her work is done by order. In addition to the Breton landscapes that influence her creations, Nicole EUDE is inspired by the fauve current and her daring chromatic research. The color is often dominant in his compositions and thus allows to infuse a joy and a great decorative force to the paintings.
Marquetry is a means of artistic expression whose technique consists of gluing veneer elements of various materials (precious wood, mother-of-pearl, brass, tin, etc.) onto a frame of ordinary wood.

**Georgette MEYER (weaving)**Originally from Alsace, Georgette MEYER entered the world of weaving at the age of 22, during an internship in an MJC and this passion has not left her! The exploration, the work of different techniques, the permanent search of colors, of various materials - cottons, wools, linens - allow him to create soft adult and child plaids, warm, in unique tones, deep or bright, and so comfortable!
Georgette will be happy to explain the operation of her loom, a copy of the
old looms and if you plug it in a bit, it will also talk to you about embroideries, patchwork and others ... taking you very quickly in this wonderful world where art represents a formidable link between the past and the future.
**Pierre PENARD (organ bill)**Pierre Pénard has a career in an electronics research center for telecoms. From a very young age, he was passionate about woodworking, which became his favourite hobby and made many furniture and objects for his home.
He discovered mechanical music and more particularly the organ of barbarism at random browsing the internet in 1999. This will become a real passion and he will not stop to rediscover by rebuilding these machines, which knew their glory hours at the end of the nineteenth century. Before the invention of the phonograph and the TSF, they were the only means of listening to music at home. Almost all musical instruments existing before 1900 were thus automated. Some of these achievements were literally genius and were even called «major invention of the century» like this automatic violin of the German manufacturer Hupfeld.
Now retired, Pierre Pénard devotes a major part of his time to mechanical music and his activity is articulated in 3 main parts: documentation, manufacture and dissemination.
The first step is to rediscover the old instruments and adapt their construction methods to the tools and materials we have today. In parallel, we will try to make them evolve by adding modern techniques including electronics and computer science.
Then comes the realization phase that will bring these new machines to life and show the interest and contribution of the planned developments. Finally, in a spirit of sharing, it follows a stage of dissemination of the results through a highly documented website and involvement in various groups of enthusiasts and associations.
**Charly SALLE (sculpture)**Charly Sallé, a sculptor, has been working on the material for 30 years in Plérin. From a block of granite, from a tree trunk, he made a statue, a fountain, a church capital ... and also bronze models.
Monumental work (statue of Icelandic widows in Ploubalzanec) and precision in finesse (sculpture on rifle butts) it is with passion that it gives life to your projects. Pedagogue, he wants to transmit his techniques of sculpture to people sensitized to this art. He organizes small group internships in his workshop on Voltaire Street in Plérin.
**ZAZEN (spinning and blowing glass)**After going through the painting, Francine Tardivon opened «Zazen Bijoux» in 2017 in Erquy. She took a glass spinner training course with a CERFAV graduate glass blower, where she also did an internship in 2019 to add blowing to her experience.
The complexity and difficulty of the material make it attractive and give the focus to creativity.
