The European Heritage Days of the Upie Bouviers Committee,

The village of Upie is located near Crest, at the foot of Mount Miéry, where a mission Virgin was erected at the end of the 19th century. The current village, circular in shape, has kept its original location, the nineteenth church having been built on the ruins of the feudal castle. Remains of the medieval rampart are still visible around the village.
