Ville de Bourg-la-Reine
Over time, the city of Bourg-la-Reine attempted to gather(combine) works manifesting the variety of the production of the ceramicist Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat (1844-1910): the collection, rich of about one hundred and twenty rooms(parts, plays), is presented in a part(party) of the house where the artist lived. It is here that the artist perfected his(her) famous "Rouge Dalpayrat", a technique which gives a tint to its flamed sandstones sang-de-bœuf.
A permanent exhibition handling the influence of Art nouveau on its work, the creativeness of forms and its work on material(subject), development(clarification) of "Rouge Dalpayrat" and tradition ceramic in Bourg-la-Reine, accompanies visit.
