Created in 1281 on monastic lands, the ancient country-house of Sauveterre possesses a plan in draughtboard of a remarkable regularity. It is built around a big(great) marketplace lined with training(forming) arcades covered above whom(which) raise themselves(draw themselves up) houses with piece of wood or stone of the XVth and XVIth centuries.
