"Debout les Hommes" is produced by the artist Isabelle Lecordier.
"Standing Men" was conceived from the five letters of the word SWORD. The idea was to illustrate the five stages of regaining freedom, from chaos to tomorrow’s construction, with trees made of recycled materials.
The tree represents both Peace with the symbolism of the olive tree, as well as life and nature perpetual renaissance.
Within this "plant" creation, the silhouettes of a man and a woman holding hands carry the messages of Peace, Brotherhood and Freedom.
It is an artistic project that combines the general public and conveys the humanistic values of our Liberators to which the regional approach pays tribute. This project combines the duty of memory, the original artistic design and the valorization of our historical heritage.
