This chapel, on the Rue des Allemands, which belongs to the Catholic parish of Saint-Eucaire and was originally a sacristy, is at the disposal of the parish of Trois-Saints-Hiérarques. Set up for the celebration of Orthodox services, it has become a witness of the spiritual heritage of Eastern Christianity, and more particularly of Byzantine Orthodoxy.
Following the December 7, 2019 fire that severely damaged the building housing the chapel, the chapel moved. The Chapel is temporarily installed in a room provided by the City of Metz, at 1 rue des Tanneurs.
