The Cardboard factory left TRACKS across its industrial buildings(ships) of the second half of the XIXth century and across its sumptuous objects varnished in japonisants decorations(sets) and Art deco which make the pride of the Museum of Pont-à-Mousson and some collectors.
Of typography(typeface) in graffs the visitor will discover and participate to Draw the history(story) of the place.
Workshops(Studios) of impression(printing) will be livened up(led) with the typographical material(equipment) (manual press, leaden and wooden characters) throughout the day (without registration(inscription)) by the Workshop Ampersand Press Lab (https://www.facebook.com / ampersandPLab/? ref=profile _ intro _ card) and an old(former) typographer.
Creation of graffs with the regional collective Mill Crew (https://www.facebook.com / Moulin-crew-469053536551289/) compound(made up) of painters and of famous graffiti artists. They will use diverse supports(media) and in particular the stock of bare pasteboard trays in a hurry(trays pressed) in the Cardboard factory. Every participant will be able to leave with a creation (a participative gift(donation) will allow to support the Association the Fireplace, a third(third party)-place).
The day will be also devoted to the photographers. Amateurs or pros, we invite you to conquer the space of the Fireplace, to seize the aesthetics of this industrial vestige and to congeal it in image, in TRACKS, before works of arrangement(development) begin. You will evolve among typographers, visual creators and graphics application packages. Among your pictures(clichés), twelve will then be chosen to realise the timetable(calendar) 2020 of the Fireplace.
