Born shortly before First World War in Vosges and blind person shortly after his(her) birth, Gaston Litaize (Ménil-sur-Belvitte, 1909 - Fays, 1991) was passionate for the organ from an early age, before entering the Institution of the young blind persons, then the Academy of Paris.
On the occasion of the centenarian(centenary) of its birth, the Departmental archives of Vosges realised a monographic exhibition(exposure) to greet the work of this matchless compositor and to call back(remind) the attachment which he, his lasting life, kept(preserved) for his native department.
Exhibition(Exposure) is illustrated by old(former) works resulting(coming) from vosgiennes abbeys and kept(preserved) to the Media library between local councils of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges.
Visible(Obvious) exhibition(exposure) of 26/08 in 29/09 in the opening hours of the media library (on Tuesday of 15 h 30 - 18 30; on Wednesday from 10 h till 12 h and from 14 h till 18 h 30; on Friday of 15 h 30 - 19; on Saturday from 10 h till 12 h and from 14 h till 17 h 30).

Created in the 7th century, the abbey of Etival is an invitation to wonder. His(Her,Its) architecture witness(baton) of Romance, Gothic or classic times(periods) is supplemented by games(sets) of lights proposed by glass masters(teachers) who knew how to alloy in the same set School of Nancy and expression of the end of the 20th century. His(Her,Its) rigour and his(her,its) perusal compete with the wealth of his(her,its) influence(radiation) in the Country of the Abbeys which it knew about the Age of the Enlightenment with in particular the construction of the north wing of the abbey set(group) assemble of the today restored media library between local councils.
