Having built in XI ° century after the setting-up(presence) of the castle, she(it) has feature to gather(combine) two architectures, Romance and Gothic architectures. The small too small becoming Roman church for the population which develops around the castle and around this church, a part(party) of the church Romance and destroyed in XV ° century to rebuild a bigger(greater) church. It is then a church in 3 vessels, that presents a thickset shape typical of churches of the Bottom(Stocking) - Poitou and that is topped with a square bell tower. Each of the walls is adorned with modillons, stones in projection and sculpted of human or animal heads.
Indoors, both architectures find themselves. At the entrance(admission) it is the Romanic style which is present while more flamboyant Gothic style makes of the chorus(choir) a bright space. This chorus(choir) contains sumptuous stained-glass windows dating of XIX ° and XX ° century, among which the one tells the wars of Vendée.
