Come discover or rediscover the Church Saint-Hermeland, its painted vault and its works of arts registered in 2014 in conformance with(for) historic monuments.

These two paintings(cloths) stuck on the walls of the church Saint-Hermeland belong to all six monumental paintings(cloths), vestiges of a neo-Gothic decoration(set) which covered walls in the past. This decoration(set) was created in the second half of the XIXth century during the restoration(catering) of the building dated the end of the XVth century and registered in conformance with(for) historic monuments since 1925.
The whole remaining decoration(set), 6 monumental paintings(cloths) and 9 medallions, was registered in conformance with(for) historic monuments in 2014 because it constitute a rare set(group) in the department, with the kept(preserved) furniture, of a programme of neo-Gothic decoration(set), in harmony with the architecture of the building. The author of these paintings(cloths) is not known this day.
