Château
2 place de l’Église, Cherves
The Castle of Cherves benefits from works of restoration(catering) to find its identity of feudal fortress (XIIIth century) and of manorial home (built the from XVth century till XVIIth century). His(Her,Its) listed(classified) donjon, of the XIIIth century, is saved from the ruins today. Stayed very authentic, because little altered, he(it) offers a rare evidence of double vocation: defensive military building(ship) on one hand, and manorial house on the other hand.
