The castle of Hautefort, old(former) medieval fortress, is transformed into pleasure house in the XVIIth century, and keeps(preserves) a remarkable collection of furniture today of the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.
In the XIXth century, the count de Choulot draws the French-style gardens and creates the English-style park.
