Visit of the agricultural high school of Ahun by the members of the management team
In 1921, Alphonse Defumade, chairman of the General Council of the Creuse makes donation in the department of land all 145 hectares including a castle and farmlands.
This donation is granted on condition that(provided that) an agricultural college is built on the domain. On architectural plan, the agricultural college of Neuvic d' Ussel serves then as source of inspiration. Besides the school building(ship), a detached house(flag) and workshops(studios) are built and in October, 1925, the doors of the agricultural college of Ahun open to the pupils. In 1956, an order of the Ministry for Agriculture announces the transformation(processing) of the practical school of agriculture(farming) of Ahun in regional school of agriculture(farming) with getting(obtaining) of a national diploma of the second degree at the end of 3 years of training(formation). The first existent enlargement of buildings(ships) takes place in 1963, date in which the regional school becomes agricultural high school.
