This free visit will allow to admire the big(great) staircase, the lounges(shows) and the library(bookcase) of a very beautiful mansion of the XIXth century and to make acquaintance of the national Academy(Regional education authority) of sciences, literature and arts of Bordeaux, with its very beautiful heritage, paintings(boards) of the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries, of which a portrait of Montesquieu classified as "Historic Monument", busts, engravings, medals...
Lounges(Shows) include in a row the lounge(show) of the academicians and two big(great) lounges(shows). To the library(bookcase) will be presented and one commented on them on them of the collections of works and the memo of the academicians in the XIXth century. A diaporama will parade(scroll) on the screens of lounges(shows) presenting the history(story) of 300 years of the Academy(Regional education authority). Academicians will be present to answer the questions of the visitors.
