The Alaman hotel was built by 1520 by Nicolas Alamant. This mansion is one of the first ones to adopt(accept) the Renaissance style in Poitou. Having been successively hotel, convent, prison, hospital, a recent restoration(catering) allowed to give to the place a new life. An exhibition(exposure) realised by the Country of art and of history(story) is present until spring, 2015 in the gallery.
