Château de Bertangles
15 rue de l'Église - 80260 Bertangles
The superb railing(bar), having hunting as theme (work of Jean Veyren) marks the entrance(entry) of the main courtyard. The very stone castle, of style Regency, is adorned with sculptures on both facades. Indoors, you will find a splendid stairwell and lounges(shows) in which walls are dressed in sculpted woodworks. Nearby, is the farm of the castle on the old(former) site of the strengthened manors, including a dwelling place and farm buildings of XVIIÈME-the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries, with in particular a pinwheel with water and one of the biggest(greatest) pigeon house of foot in Picardy.
