The local Archives have as mission to collect, to list(classify), to keep(preserve), to communicate and to promote all documents produced or received by local services(departments) as well as documents of private origin concerning Villeneuve-d' Ascq (family archives, companies, associations, sound archives, photographies). They keep(preserve) the Archives Collections of the municipalities of Annappes, Ascq and Flers-lez-Lille, that of the municipality of Villeneuve-d' Ascq created in 1970, as well as Archives Collections of the Public institution of arrangement(development) of the new town of Lille-be (EPALE).
We will make you discover the wings of archives and the different facets of archivist's job(business), following the circuit of a document of its entrance(entry) to Archives in its communication to the public.
On Saturday at 10 h 30, on reservation in 03 20 43 55 75, meeting(appointment) in the welcome(reception) of the town hall.
