Simon Whetham extemporises with nature and physical tracks of sound:
one of the sculptures called " The Impossible Tree " stages fallen branches grouped(included) in a tree sound of which, amplified, creates a médidatif piece relating to duration.
"Record of the land" (photo) re-pays(re-pours) the idea to create the physical track of a sound following furrows(grooves) ploughed by a nearby field, sound which looks like that of an old vinyl record(disk) which would be played.
