Two years before his death, Victor de Beauvillé put down(deposited) a testament instituting the City of Amiens his sole legatee and expressing his wills apparently: «the interview(maintenance) of a home intended(designed) exclusively for the diseased paupers of eyes or of complete blindness. [] they will build a chapel devoted to Saint Victor there. »The unveiling of the Home Saint Victor took place on May 6th, 1891 and the sacralisation of the Chapel was organised by lord Jacquenet, Evêque of Amiens.
