Exceptional building(ship) built in the service(department) of textile industry by the architect Alfred Bouvy, the Public Condition of Roubaix conditioned the wool from 1902 till 1972\. Acquired by Lille Métropole in 2000, then the put in arrangement(disposal) of the City of Roubaix, the building made the object of a large programme of rehabilitation led(driven) by the architect Patrick Bouchain, to become a cultural factory, place of life, of work and of artistic distribution(broadcasting). Arrangements(Developments) were realised by preserving memory and poetry of this site in the vegetated terraces, and in facades listed(classified) in the additional Inventory of Historic monuments.
