The Castle of Guesdière owes its foundation to the count de Clermont who made it build in 1176 to accommodate in it his men of weapon to ensure the safety(security) of the monks of the priory. The castle knew numerous enlargements which the last ones would date the end of the XIXth century. He(It) shelters a very beautiful wall painting, thought fresco Silvie, which is assumed to be a representation of Marie-Félicie of Ursins, duchess of Morello cherry, as well as Museum of Guesdière. Contains the wall painting " Marie-Félicie " Listed(Classified) in conformance with(for) Historic monuments
