The old(former) church dating of 1771 showing itself too small, a new building was built in 1883 under the reign of the Kaiser Guillaume Ier of Germany during the annexation of Alsace-Moselle in German Empire. To express the Francophilia of the population, the powerful family of ironmasters native to Hayange Of Wendel the Parisian mansion of which was located street of Clichy asked the architect to draw inspiration from the Church of the Saint-Trinity de Paris, their Parisian parish. The organ Opus 100 of the business company Dalstein-Haerpfer, also financed by the family of Wendel, is most great organ of Moselle. He was installed(settled) and blest in 1894\. The parish church Saint Martin is registered in conformance with(for) historic monuments since March 12th, 2008.
