About the location

Chapelle Saint-Julien-CHRU de Nancy
CHRU de Nancy, 1 Rue Foller, 54000 Nancy
  • Meurthe-et-Moselle
  • Grand Est
The chapel Saint Julien rises at the end of the hospital of the same name. It was finished(ended) in 1900 on the plans of Albert Jasson (1849-1923), architect of the City of Nancy. His(Her,Its) inside is characterised by the large forums(stands) communicator with dormitories and allowing to the sick to participate in services(offices). His(Her,Its) crypt intrigues the visitors particularly with burials of benefactors and directors of the hospital, dating the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries. It is about headstones transferred by the chapel of the old(former) Saint Julian hospital, located behind the Town hall, before its demolition.
