This féculerie still worked in 1968 and presents buildings(ships) and machines necessary for the development of the starch of potato, very commonly-used in the XIXth century. Visit is assured(insured) by the owner of the place who grew within this industrial body.

The féculerie was created by 1910 by Antoine and Albert Robert in the place - thought Mont-la-Ville, to replace other féculeries of the village (in Clos-Faing and in Malenrupt) activity of which had stopped at the beginning of the XXth century. In 1926, she(it) was acquired by Benjamin Mercadier, but ceased working in 1968\. It is the property of Jean-Louis Robert today. Medium-sized(Of medium height), she(it) employed three people for the periods of full activity.
