About the location

Église romane de Champ-le-Duc
12 place de l'Eglise, 88600 Champ-le-Duc

The church was built most probably in the XIIth century in vosgien sandstone on a more old(former) construction, which it dated the time(period) of Charlemagne. It then knew modifications brought by the Chapter of Remiremont in the XVIIIth century. The church shelters a remarkable furniture, protected in conformance with(for) historic monuments going back up(raising) mainly to the XVIIIth century, especially the organ, attributed(awarded) to Nicolas Dupont, builds in 1781, the altar grave, the tabernacle and the font.
