Quatuor Hélios

Created in 2009 in Nancy, the Quartet Hélios gathers(combines) 4 qualified and prize-winning, gifted and passionate musicians: FRANÇOIS CHAPUIS, GUILLAUME LEBOWSKI, VINCENT FELLY and Arnaud George.
Welded by a profound friendship, the trombonists give to this quartet a dynamics and a sensitivity(sensibility) stemming from diverse horizons. By provoking new arrangements and an original directory, Hélios spread(widened) borders of the chamber music of brass instruments enlarging its attraction so to an audience always increasing.
The quartet Hélios crosses(exceeds) the barriers of time(weather): he(it) interprets a directory which goes of the baroque to jazz via(including) the classic and the contemporary and refuses to lock himself into an unique(only) style.
Under the nave of the church Saint-Peter, Hélios will interpret a festive programme compound(made up) of musics of movies, big(great) classics, jazz and of French songs.
