Parish church of Mardigny, of the 12th century for its the most old(former) parts(parties), altered in the 19th century.

The church will be open to visit free Saturday, September 15th from 14 h till 18 h.
On Sunday, September 16th, nonstop guided tours from 14 h, last departure at 17 h.

The municipality of Lorry-Mardigny consists of two distinct villages: Lorry-devant-le-Pont and Mardigny.
The church Saint Laurent(Lawrence) of Mardigny was rebuilt in the 19th century. However, she(it) keeps(preserves) parts(parties) of the old(former) Romance church of the 12th century: before - nave and tour(tower,ballot), gouttereaux walls of the old(former) nave. These parts(parties) of the 12th century as well as facade and roofing of the chorus(choir) are registered in conformance with(for) historic monuments since 1997\.
