Regiment of the city of Metz, the 3rd Regiment of Hussars is the unity(unit) of armored cavalry of the French-German Brigade. Capable to be spread(displayed,deployed) in an interallied context and in an environment digitally converted, he(it) is currently committed(hired) in theatres of operations in Africa, in the Middle East, as on the national territory.
For European Heritage Days, it will be distributed a plaque presenting the 3rd Regiment of Hussars, presented a video projection on the regiment, its history(story) and the armored vehicles.

The palace of the Governor, conscript in the past General-Kommando, is a residence built in Metz, between 1902 and 1905, to serve as pied-a-terre to the emperor Guillaume II. It is located small public garden Giraud in the southwest of the district of Metz-Centre, but rest historically bound(connected) to the imperial district further east. The Palace is registered on the additional inventory of historic monuments since 1975.
